I guess we’re missing out on the almond blossom – by the time we go at the end of next month it will be over but there should still be lots of wild flowers coming out – there are some yellow ones, the colour of primroses, that just carpet the road sides. My daughter loves to ride at this time of year, they take the horses along the river beds which actually have some water in them and lined with wild flowers – no wonder riding in England doesn’t hold much attraction for her now!

We’re getting quite a few enquiries and booking at the moment. We have some people who come back again and again which is nice as they seems like old friends.

It’s so grey, cold at the moment so we’ve just booked to going out to Jacinto 20 – our apartment and just thinking about it is cheering us up. The shade temperature out there today is 61 degrees! That would certainly do for some golf without the thermals and waterproofs! John’s just told me it’s 34 degrees here but it certainly feels colder with an icy wind blowing – so bring on the end of March.
We now have 5 golf courses within 30 minutes drive from the apartment and look forward to playing at lease a few of them soon. Anyone who hasn’t tried Macenas Beach the newest coarse it’s well worth a visit although you do need a buggy. The course has nice sea-views and some interesting holes. You get to it by driving out of Mojacar Beach on the coast road towards Carboneras. I will be adding odd bits of info regularly about what’s going on in the area and golf
